From a Trip

(off Reseda)

Floating on air I see you

Bouncing about I mark you

Gazing at stars, no bells, no alarms

A peaceful and sleepy world

In this strange place, I’m flustered and dumb

In paradise I only feel love

The fields do align, and I’m lost in time

A new lotus blossom world

And though I say such fleeting words

I don’t care that this fades

To be unseen and feel serene

I could not ask for more

Flying unhinged I’m laughing

Lying down now I’m sighing

What a good find, all left behind

A new lotus blossom world
